Our Deer Lake remodel was an interior transformation focused on reworking the layout to better fit the homeowners’ needs. We partnered with our architect to redesign the space, removing an existing bedroom to make room for a true primary suite with a more functional and open flow.
The primary bedroom area was taken down to the studs, allowing us to install new insulation, updated electrical, and fresh drywall throughout. We installed new hardwood flooring in both the primary and guest bedroom with a custom stain to seamlessly match the existing floors, along with fresh paint to tie everything together.
The new primary suite features a walk-in shower, walk-in closet, and a custom-built makeup counter. In the bathroom, we incorporated a custom walnut vanity with a dark stain, new countertops, updated lighting, and tile flooring. A shiplap feature wall in the toilet area adds a subtle, custom detail that fits the overall style of the home.
The guest bathroom was also updated with tile wainscoting, refreshed paint on the cabinetry, new countertops, lighting, and plumbing fixtures. We completed the space with a walk-in tile shower and custom glass doors, giving it a clean and updated look.
This project is a great example of how reworking an existing layout and investing in quality finishes can completely transform a home without changing its footprint.
